Integrity, Respect, and the Personal Touch
DESSCO was founded in 1954 and has been operated as a family-owned business since 1972, when it was acquired by the late Lyman "Al" Harris. Al's two sons continue to operate the business today on the same principles of integrity and service established by their father a quarter of a century ago.
Al felt that his road to success in business started by always doing what he said he was going to do. His sons still follow his example.
As in Al's day, there's no complicated phone system with a recorded voice telling you to press a myriad of buttons before you reach the right person. Lots of things have changed in the last 25 years, but we're old-fashioned when it comes to keeping in personal touch with our customers - new and old.
We feel that by providing a good atmosphere for our workers and the opportunity for them to make a respectable living, we're helping them fulfill their great American dream. At the same time, our customers are getting the kind of work they have a right to expect.
